Make a Profound Impact
We come to Masonry for one reason: To make a difference. We make a difference in our own lives, as we strive to become better men. We make a difference in our brothers’ lives, by vowing to be there. And, we make a difference in the lives of the most vulnerable members of our community through our shared support of impactful causes. A new video created by the California Masonic Foundation offers an inspiring perspective of our Masonic quest to live a meaningful life.

Become a better man - a Mason
How does a good man become better? By working out, or by working his way up the corporate ladder? By changing his diet, or by changing his style? By traveling the world, or by staying perfectly still? For more than 300 years we've helped good men become the best versions of themselves through a dedicated fraternity and by taking the oath to live a life of integrity, service and brotherly love. Men who are as committed to each other and their families as they are to our noble cause. In the end we don't just make men better...we make them Masons!
What is Freemasonry
Ben Franklin
Freemasonry is a fraternity or Brotherhood of men, and in some countries a Sisterhood of women, who believe in making themselves better.
What It's Like To Be A Freemason
We spoke to three Masons at the United Grand Lodge of England, the governing body of Freemasonry in England. The United Grand Lodge of England has around 200,000 members meeting in over 7,000 Lodges throughout the country. We asked the three Masons about how they were introduced to the secretive society, what their initiation ceremonies were like, and what perks they receive as members.
